Residents have been advised to store an adequate amount of water according to their needs, and water tankers will be available on request.

The Delhi Jal Board has stated that due to a shutdown for the interconnection of the main water line at Keshopur Drain and Peeragarhi Chowk, water supply will be affected in several areas, including Rohini, from Wednesday to Thursday.

In a post on social media, the board mentioned that residents are advised to store enough water based on their necessities, and water tankers will be available upon request.

Due to the shutdown for interconnection at Keshopur Drain and Peeragarhi Chowk (Rohtak Road) from 10 am to 10 pm on November 29, water supply in many colonies/areas will either be unavailable or available at low pressure from the evening of November 29 until the morning of November 30, as stated by DJB.

The affected areas include Rohini Sectors 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 22, 23, and 25, Madhuban Chowk, Mangolpuri, Sultanpuri, Paschim Vihar, Major Bhupendra Singh Nagar, Mahavir Nagar, Krishna Park, Janakpuri, and surrounding areas.

It’s crucial for everyone in the affected areas to be mindful of their water usage during this period. The Delhi Jal Board understands the inconvenience caused by the temporary disruption and assures residents that water tankers will be readily available upon request to mitigate any hardships.

As we face this brief water supply challenge, let’s come together as a community to ensure everyone has access to essential resources. Remember to use water wisely and store an adequate amount for your immediate needs.

The scheduled shutdown at Keshopur Drain and Peeragarhi Chowk is a necessary step for infrastructure improvement. The Delhi Jal Board appreciates the cooperation of residents in understanding the importance of such initiatives for the long-term benefit of the community.

If you have any concerns or require assistance during this period, don’t hesitate to reach out to the Delhi Jal Board. Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated as we work towards ensuring a sustainable and reliable water supply for all.
