Animal Advance Booking First Day: Animal has made a fantastic start with its first-day advance booking across India. The Hindi version has secured the top spot in advance bookings with remarkable earnings of ₹12.36 crores from 7,742 shows, selling over 4 lakh tickets.
The Telugu version has also performed well, earning ₹15.57 crores from 993 shows and selling approximately 1 lakh tickets. The Tamil and Kannada versions have had an impressive start, with earnings of ₹20.02 lakhs and ₹18.81 lakhs, respectively.
In total, the Bollywood film has grossed ₹13.95 crores nationwide, indicating a significant anticipation on a broad scale. Looking at state-wise data, Delhi is leading the chart with an extraordinary 37% consumption rate, while Telangana is not far behind with a 26% consumption rate. Tamil Nadu is also showing deep interest with a 23% consumption rate.
Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra have contributed ₹1.21 crores and ₹1.98 crores in revenue, respectively. Gujarat and Karnataka have shown impactful figures with earnings of ₹79.44 lakhs and ₹1.41 crores, respectively.
The number of shows that are nearly full and rapidly filling up indicates a high level of enthusiasm for the film. Delhi has almost filled 328 shows, and another 154 shows are quickly filling up. Maharashtra follows with 163 shows nearly full, and 180 shows rapidly filling up.
Made on a budget of ₹100 crores, Animal is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga for Kabir Singh fame, produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role, with Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol also featuring. According to Hindustan Times, the film is set to release on December 1st.
