Marseille returned to the path of victory, breaking a winless streak of four matches with a 2-0 win against Rennes. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored, providing a lead of nine points over ninth-placed PSG.

Additionally, Brest defeated Clermont 3-0 with two goals from Romain Del Castillo, while Toulouse and Lorient drew 1-1.

Lastly, the French league (LFP) expressed condolences for the tragic death of a Nantes supporter on Saturday before the match against Nice, marking the latest unfortunate incident in French football this season. The league stated, “LFP wants to express its deepest sympathy to the bereaved family and friends and to the FC Nantes club.
