The CAT 2023 exam’s admit cards have been released today on the CAT website iimcat.ac.in. The Common Admission Test 2023 is scheduled for November 26.
The CAT 2023 admit cards can be downloaded using the user ID and password on the CAT website. The exam will be held in three sessions across 155 exam cities.
The admit card contains details about the exam center, Google Map link, exam date, slot timing, registration number, exam day instructions, and other personal details. Candidates must carry the CAT hall ticket with a valid photo ID to the exam center for verification purposes.
To download the IIM CAT hall ticket for 2023:
Step 1: Visit the official CAT website iimcat.ac.in. There’s a direct link provided on the page for admit card download.
Step 2: Click on “Download IIM CAT Admit Card” on the homepage of the CAT 2023 website.
Step 3: Enter valid CAT credentials – user ID and password.
Step 4: After submitting the correct details, the CAT 2023 admit card will load on the computer screen.
Step 5: Download the CAT hall ticket for 2023 and verify the details mentioned. In case of any discrepancies, contact the CAT helpdesk. It’s advised to take 2-3 printouts of all pages of the admit card.
The CAT exam for 2023 is a computer-based test (CBT) conducted for admission to IITs and top B-schools. The number of questions varies annually, divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA), likely comprising 66 multiple-choice questions (MCQ). The exam duration is 120 minutes, with each section having a 40-minute duration.
More than 330,000 MBA candidates have applied for the CAT 2023 exam, showing an increase in registration numbers this year. Over 1,000 public and private colleges will accept CAT 2023 scores for admissions to MBA/PGPDM/EMBA programs for 2024-26.
