Amala Paul has tied the knot with her boyfriend Jagat Desai. The couple had a splendid lavender-themed wedding in Kochi. She’s an actress known for her work in Tamil, Malayalam, and Telugu films. She made her Bollywood debut earlier this year in Ajay Devgn’s film “Bhola.”
Just ten days after Amala’s engagement, she said ‘yes’ to Jagat’s surprise proposal on her birthday. They got married in a beautiful lavender-themed wedding ceremony in Kochi following Christian customs.
Amala shared pictures of her wedding with Jagat on her Instagram handle last Sunday. They were seen twinning in lavender – she wore a matching statement necklace with a top and skirt, while he sported a white designer kurta-pajama with a lavender dupatta. In the first picture, they hold hands on the stage; in the next, they descend down the wooden stairs. The third picture shows them smiling, with fireworks in the background.
Amala captioned, “Celebrating the love and grace that brought us together. #MarriedWithMyDivineMasculine. In search of your love and blessings (Tiara emoji) (Red heart with sparkles emoji) #sacredunion.”
She also posted a picture of them kissing on her Instagram stories.

Just before Amala, Jagat had shared another set of wedding pictures. These were from the same wedding photoshoot they had in those outfits. In his caption, Jagat wrote, “Two souls, one destiny, walking hand in hand with my divine woman for the rest of this lifetime. (Lavender heart and tiara emoji) #Married #TwinFlame.”
Previously, Amala was married to Tamil director A. L. Vijay, but the marriage ended in divorce three years later reportedly due to disagreements with her in-laws over continuing her acting career.
Amala is set to appear next in the Malayalam survival drama “Adujeevitham.”
