Euphoria Producer Kevin Turen Passes Away at 44: A Tribute

During the weekend, Kevin Turen, the producer of “Euphoria” and “The Idol,” passed away at the age of 44. According to several media reports, the exact cause of his death is unknown, as no official statement has been released by his family at this time.

Kevin was born on August 16, 1979, in New York City. After completing his education in cinema at Columbia University, he relocated to Los Angeles. He had a close relationship with Sam Levinson and Ashley Levinson and together, they founded the production company Little Lamb Productions. This company produced the acclaimed HBO drama series “Euphoria,” earning Zendaya two Emmy Awards. The show also features talented artists like Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, and Maude Apatow. The production of the third season of this impactful series is expected to begin in December.

Apart from co-producing “The Idol” with Sam Levinson, Kevin was also behind the feature film “Pieces of a Woman” (2020), starring Vanessa Kirby, which earned him an Academy Award nomination for her performance. Kevin had a strong association with T.I. (Tip) and produced the first two installments of “Extravaganza,” “Ex (2022), and “Pearl (2022),” both featuring Mia Goth in lead roles.
